The role of goalkeeper this season has always been covered excellently by the extreme defenders at coach Italiano’s disposal. Lukasz Skorupski and Federico Ravaglia have in fact always responded when called upon and the club’s will seems to be to continue for both. The Pole’s contract expires in June 2025, but upon reaching 23 Serie A appearances, an automatic one-year renewal will be triggered. At the moment Skorupski has played 21 league games and as a result the renewal is now a done deal.
Bologna and the player’s entourage are then already working to further extend his contract until 2027, so as to armor his position. Barring any surprises, Federico Ravaglia, who grew up in a Bologna jersey and is now a symbol of the Rossoblù faith, will also stay. The intention, then, is clear: the Felsinei want to start with the same pair of goalkeepers again next season.
