A Bologna e a Monza il macedone è andato a segno, Vanoli lo schiererà dal primo minuto anche domani al Tardini
There is a curious fact that emerges from analyzing Eljif Elmas’ first games in a Torino jersey: the Macedonian has played two away matches so far and both times he scored. Goal at Bologna on his debut a few minutes after he entered the field, goal at Monza that unlocked the result. The only game where, so far, he has been without a goal is at home against Milan. Considering that there is another away game coming up, that at the Parma field, the figure is certainly reassuring.
Elmas a Parma a caccia di un altro gol
Paolo Vanoli will certainly not rely on this when drawing up the lineup, but Elmas should still be deployed once again from the first minute: it will be an opportunity for the Granata number 11 to hunt for a hat-trick of away goals.
If he were to succeed, his teammates and fans would certainly be happy about it as well, because it would benefit Torino. But the managers of Leipzig would also be happy about this, considering that Elmas no longer fits into the German club’s own technical plan, and the more positive his experience at the Granata turns out to be, the easier it will be to sell him for good in the summer.
Calciomercato Torino: per Elmas si cercherà uno sconto
The first interlocutor will obviously be Torino, which has a clause to redeem the player’s card that can be activated by paying into Leipzig’s coffers 17 million euros-a figure that is certainly very important for the Granata club. Urbano Cairo and Davide Vagnati have already begun to make all the necessary evaluations, although it seems difficult to think that the granata president could pull out such a sum without batting an eyelid.
The road that Torino will take will be a different one: Vagnati will first try to get a discount from the German club, as has happened several times in the recent past with players who arrived on loan with right of redemption. From Vlasic to Pellegri, from Lazaro to Miranchuk, the examples of this type are many and not always then the negotiation was concluded. Now it is still early to be able to say how the negotiation for Elmas will end, what is clear, however, is that the Macedonian is an important player and even Vanoli would be happy to count on him next season.
