Venice captain is being looked at to reinforce the defense in the coming summer

According to reports from colleagues at Il Gazzettino, Udinese ahead of next season is moving with interest toward Venezia’s central defender Jay Idzes. The 24-year-old, who became captain of the Laguna side after Pohjanpalo’s sale to Palermo in January, is valued at around three million euros and is a national of Indonesia with 9 appearances and 1 goal to his credit, but was born in the Netherlands.

Physically fit, 190 cm. tall, he played 26 games with 2 goals during the season. An element of great physical strength and excellent header. In the last year he was the protagonist of the orange and green formation with a total of 30 appearances and 3 goals including Play-Off matches.

He previously played in the Netherlands growing up in the FC Eindhoven Youth Sector before making his First Team debut with 57 appearances and 1 assist. Following this was his move to the Go Ahead Eagles with whom he made 93 appearances with 3 goals and 5 assists.
