Maldini: “We hope to get to the top”

Interviewed by L’Eco di Bergamo, Daniel Maldini talks about his first acclimatization in Bergamo, starting with the usual litanies related to the heavy surname: “I live it quite well. In all things you have to learn to get used to it, and I have been living with this situation for years now, of which I never, even as a child, had the burden.”

Born in 2001 and raised in Milan Center, he also jokes about the possibility of finding a home in Bergamo: “In the immediate aftermath of my adventure, I ask just that: finding a home. I’m still commuting, in reverse since it’s usually people from Bergamo who go to Milan. I know very little about Bergamo, I’ve gotten some directions from my companions. We’ll see, I’m still on the high seas….”

Negotiations “In fact, we all thought a little bit that it was going to go through next summer, but then instead it was rushed, and I have to thank the Percassi family and Coach Gasperini, who showed that they wanted me badly. This gave me the decisive push to accept the transfer.”

Field goals “I hope to make my contribution from here to the end, and that it will be enough to get to the top….”
