Dusan Vlahovic leaves Juve but may stay in Serie A: the hint that excites fans
Vlahovic, addio Juve ma resta in Serie A: quell’indizio che scatena i tifosi – SerieAnews
Dusan Vlahovic is living the last months with the Juventus jersey on. The Serbian center forward has now become a reserve, albeit a luxury one, at Juventus. Since the arrival of Kolo Muani, Thiago Motta has had no doubts whatsoever. He bet on the Frenchman without any ifs and buts, because the former PSG player fits best with his tactical idea of soccer.
A mobile, modern center forward whose movements open up spaces for the insertions of the outside attackers and the trequartista. A bit like Zirkzee did in Bologna last season, not surprisingly the pupil Motta would have loved in Turin this season.
Vlahovic, on the other hand, is a different kind of striker: a prolific bomber, selfish as only center forwards can be, lethal in the last 16 yards but little inclined to sew up play or work on the side. Yet the number 9 is trying when called upon at home, just as happened in the final minutes of the challenge against Verona.
Vlahovic, già 14 gol ma problema rinnovo
Dusan Vlahovic, despite characteristics not suited to Motta’s game, still made his contribution, especially in the first part of the season. Already at 14 goals in 33 appearances, for an average of one goal every 161′ of play, more than one goal every two games.

In the league there are nine goals to the credit for the striker in 21 appearances while four goals in nine matches played in the Champions League. In short, truly respectable numbers. At the end of the season, however, the roads will part. The relationship with Motta is at an all-time low and even the contractual situation seems to leave no other option.
Vlahovic has a contract expiring in June 2026 but so far the renewal negotiations have not brought positive sites, quite the contrary; the center forward does not want to lower his current 12-million-a-year salary let alone spread it out, an option offered by the Continassa executives to lower expenses according to the diktat of the ownership. A situation, this one, that will force Giuntoli to sell him in the summer in order not to lose him at zero.
Doppia opzione in A per il bomber: lo vuole Conte
Where can Dusan Vlahovic go? Undoubtedly, the foreign track is the most beaten. In the Premier League they have the economic capacity to satisfy the striker’s wishes. The usual Manchester United, but also and especially Chelsea and Arsenal, the last two looking for a true 20-goal-a-season bomber.

If PSG, because of Vlahovic’s characteristics, seems defiled at the moment, Bayern Munich in Germany may make a comeback, even if Harry Kane is untouchable in the center of the attack. There is, however, a fascinating dual option leading Serie A. First and foremost, Napoli. The Azzurri will be back in the Champions League next season, and De Laurentiis is ready for a big market to build a team up to the task and convince Conte to stay in the Azzurri.
The coach is an admirer of the Serbian center forward and may push for his purchase given Lukaku’s no longer youthful age and an expensive season ahead. The problem? A not inconsiderable effort would be needed for the signing, considering how at least 7-8 million euros per season is needed.
The other option leads, however, to Roma. In the summer, a new revolution is possible: with the certain farewell of Ranieri, who should have a managerial role, much will depend on the new coach. Gasperini is one of the most viable options, but at Roma they dream big with Ancelotti.
Almost impossible option but equally not to be discarded; in this case, it is possible that they will aim directly at Vlahovic to reinforce the attack. As is known, in fact, in the summer of 2023 the coach tried to bring him to Madrid – he even called him – but to no avail. And who knows, the paths may not join in Rome.
