Roma won 2-1 by overturning Da Cunha’s goal, on the Giallorossi’s first goal decisive an unintentional touch by Goldaniga on Saelemaekers shot while the second goal was by Dovbyk. The Azzurri played most of the second half with a man down, expelled for double yellow Kempf in 63′ and this weighed in no small part. It is fair to recognize that coach Ranieri’s boys in the second half tried in every way to win, but it should also be acknowledged Como’s great performance particularly in the first half when they dominated. In the final unlucky Vojvoda hit the post for the Azzurri.
80′ Fadera cautioned. 83′ Nico Paz exits and Ikonè enters. 86′ Da Cunha cautioned. COMO OCCASION in the 88th minute with Vojvoda who frees himself well and with a diagonal shot hits the post in full, on the rebound there goes Cutrone but Svilar rejects with his foot the ball destined for the sack, immediately afterwards Vojvoda is cautioned. A final with bated breath, still Como dangerous at 92′ with Ikoné who sows panic in the Giallorossi area but then Svilar intervenes and closes the Azzurri action.

At 50′ very risky entry of Smolcic on El Shaaraway but the referee let go and pardoned the Larian player who was already cautioned, on the continuation cautioned Caqueret. The match heats up and at 54′ Mancini is cautioned for protests. At 56′ Vojvoda enters in place of Smolcic, not risking the bench to leave the already cautioned defender on the field, and Cutrone for Caqueret. In come Saelemaekers and Cristante out come Konè and Soulè.
Roma brought in El Shaaravy and Dovbyk in place of Pellegrini and Shomurodov.
SECOND HALF.
Wonderful first half for Como, which went to the break ahead thanks to a goal at 43′ by Da Cunha who made the most of a great assist from Perrone. Como dominated with personality showing off a formidable tactical performance. Lots and lots of Como that did not allow Roma to reason.
43′ GGGGGGOOOOOLLLLL DA CUNHA who found the winning cue thanks to a wonderful assist from Perrone who waited for the perfect moment to vertically launch his teammate who stepped in front of Svilar and pierced him with a precise right-footed shot.
39′ splendid verticalization in the opponent’s area by Da Cunha who with a lob tries to serve Perrone but is too long.
35′: Always very good Como playing with personality even if they have to be very careful. In 22′ Smolcic on a low shot from the limit after a good offensive action by Diao and Nico Paz, ball out of the goal mirror. At 27′ Kempf cautioned. At 31′ Dybala from close range turns weakly and parries Butez. In these last minutes the Giallorossi have raised their center of gravity and are trying to get closer to Butez’s goal especially with plays from Dybala and Soulè. In 34′ another deep ball for the Roman fantasist who does not get there. Nico Paz is varying more on the right at this stage of the game with Diao going central with Caqueret behind him.
First quarter of an hour with the Azzurri controlling the game well and are putting Roma in trouble thanks to a high pressing and quick plays, Caqueret in an almost attacking position while Strefezza and Diao cover the flanks well. At 1′ first Giallorossi foray with Pellegrini stretching the ball too far, Butez was ready to intervene. At 4′ great gallop by Valle on the left and a low ball into the box too far back for Nico Paz and Diao. Blue ring in attack at 10′ Da Cunha brushes it into the box for Valle’s header, no go. Cautioned at 12′ Smolcic.
