Cristina Mezzaroma: “The library in Formello named after Flavio and Francesco.”

Cristina Mezzaroma, wife of Lazio President Claudio Lotito, spoke for the first time in front of the cameras at Dribbling’s microphones. Below are her words.

L’intervista di Cristina Mezzaroma

Sulle sue origini.

“My grandfather had two small children and during the war he decided to start a carpentry business because he needed work. These are my origins; I don’t come from a noble lineage.”

Sul marito Claudio Lotito.

“I am not ashamed to show my feelings, while Claudio (Lotito, ed.) is much more demure, more reserved. When he calls me ‘Chicca’ I understand that he is quiet. I tell him that there are two people in the world who can tell him the naked truth: me and our son (Enrico, ed.), who are two free voices.”

“A smile opens more doors than an act of authority.”

Sulle iniziative benefiche.

“‘Share the Good,’ the collection of non-perishable food and clothing, is the latest of the Foundation’s projects and has a double meaning: ‘Share the Good morally and materially.'”

Sulla passione per la lettura.

“Books have made me travel, made me live lives I would not have lived otherwise. The library we are setting up in Formello will be named after Flavio and Francesco, twin Lazio fans who passed away recently.”

Sul possibile nuovo Stadio della Lazio.

“Would I do it? Yes, but not just to have the soccer team play there. I would also provide spaces for activities dedicated to the elderly and children.”
