Paolo Vanoli e Fabio Pecchia si sono già affrontati 4 volte in Serie B: i precedenti sorridono al tecnico del Parma
Paolo Vanoli and Fabio Pecchia will face each other in the match between Torino and Parma for the first time in A. The two coaches have met four times before. In these four challenges their teams were in Serie B. In fact, Vanoli was at the helm of Venezia while Pecchia was the coach of Parma at the time. The precedents smile on the coach of the Gialloblù although they are not completely unbalanced in his favor. In fact, the 51-year-old has met the Torino coach on four occasions, winning twice, drawing once and losing only once. The first meeting between the two coaches took place on Dec. 26, 2022 with Vanoli having been at the helm of Venezia for less than two months. The match at Venezia’s home ended 2-2. The next meeting that season was on the 38th day of the championship, on May 19, 2023, a challenge in which the Gialloblù prevailed.

Last season, still at the helm of Venice and Parma, the two coaches played each other twice more. The first, on the ninth day of the championship, was also the only match won by Vanoli who managed to bring home a 3-2 victory in front of his own fans. The next challenge, however, saw the three points again go to Pecchia who managed to beat Vanoli’s team 2-1 with his Parma. Interestingly, Pecchia’s Parma against Vanoli’s Venezia never managed to win on the road. In fact on the two occasions when the match was staged at the Penzo on one occasion the match ended in a draw, and on the other occasion it was the current coach of Torino who triumphed instead.
