So much anticipation for Como – Napoli, no more tickets: sold-out stadium, reinforced Questura controls

Anticipation is growing for Sunday’s super-match between Como and Napoli at Sinigaglia Stadium. The match will be played at 12:30 p.m. and in a completely sold-out stadium: all tickets have already been sold in advance. Most of the seats – in the curva azzurra especially – reserved for season ticket holders, slight increase in capacity also for the guest sector than usual (175 more seats). Tagiandi burned within hours of free sale.

Today Questore Marco Calì ordered the strengthening of the existing security system with a robust reinforcement presence of State Police, Carabinieri, Guardia di Finanza and Local Police. In particular, car filtering points will be increased to facilitate the routing of fans to the designated reception area at the Grandate/Lazzago station parking lot for subsequent transportation to the stadium, with additional mobile and fixed crews from Traffic Police, Carabinieri Force and Local Police.

And given that in these hours are arriving news – unchecked – for the possible arrival in Como of a large number of Napoli fans (without tickets), here is that the Questura clarifies and clarifies: invitation to respect the indications given to let only people with tickets arrive near the stadium. As mentioned, the stadium is sold-out and no more coupons are on sale for Sunday. Administrative and anti-abuse controls will be strengthened, also by the Guardia di Finanza. Likewise, filtering at the turnstiles will be strengthened with more stewards and aliquots of police force personnel. The common goal is for all spectators to enjoy a peaceful day of sports, as also emphasized several times by the City Administration.
