Major strike at Napoli: the latest reports speak of an imprestanti acceleration for a midfielder.
Napoli is preparing to place an important blow and the news is just of these minutes. Earlier today, the blue club has already officially announced the arrival of Simone Scuffet, who has thus become the second goalkeeper in the Neapolitan team, placing himself behind Meret and taking the place of Caprile, who is instead officially a new player at Cagliari.
Giovanni Manna, however, is working to bring in other elements to deliver into the hands of Antonio Conte. While it is true that the Danilo deal seems to be a priority, given that the Brazilian defender would represent an improntant element to be included given the problems in the defense, there is also important progress to be noted for the midfield.
Even in this department, in fact, Napoli needs to insert pawns, and so there are names that have been orbiting the Neapolitan team for a few weeks now. Among these is that of Jacopo Fazzini who, however, would also be contended by Lazio, which would also have the player’s yes.

Another one of the names that has been linked to the Azzurri is that of Cesare Casadei, midfielder for Chelsea and the Italian U21 national team. He, too, was among the names approached by the Azzurri, but now it seems that Napoli has taken important steps to close the deal.

This was revealed by Gianluca Di Marzio, Sky Sport journalist and market expert, who through his social channels gave the latest on the situation: “Napoli’s decisive overtake for Cesare Casadei. In the day there was a sprint by the Azzurri, who now have to close to avoid further counter-oppositions,” Di Marzio explained.
“Relations between Napoli and Chelsea have been good since last summer when Manna already wanted to get the 2003 class″, the Sky Sport journalist still said. And again, Di Marzio also explained how Casadei himself is tantalized by the possibility of returning to Italy as soon as possible.
“The player wants to return to Italy and had prioritized Torino but the Azzurri today accelerated. Stellini, Conte’s assistant coach, dotes on him, having known him in his experience with the Apulian coach at Inter,” Di Marzio’s words.
