AS ROMA NEWS – He seemed to be close to saying goodbye after just one (disappointing) market session, but instead Florent Ghisolfi is still there, firmly in his post alongside Claudio Ranieri. The DS has been at the forefront of the winter soccer market, managing to place several players (many of them taken in the summer) and bring in new ones.
For now, the ds’s incoming operations seem to be convincing: Salah-Eddine performed well in Parma despite a failed goal, proving an interesting alternative to the Spaniard Angelino. The Dutch full-back has good feet and good legs, and in these months he can serve an important apprenticeship ahead of next season. Roma has invested in him for the future: the former Twente arrived in Trigoria on a permanent basis in a deal worth about 8 million euros.
Also convincing is young Gourna-Douath, who has shown physical strength and good vision of the game, but also an excessive impetuosity that needs to be refined: in midfield, he can make the starters play second fiddle. In Ghisolfi’s vision for the future, the Frenchman will replace Cristante in next year’s squad, but 20 million will be needed to redeem him, a not inconsiderable sum. Altalenante Rensch, who, however, served to shake up the sleeping Celik. Okay Nelsson, who appeared very determined and concrete in his first appearances in the Giallorossi.
