LATEST NEWS FROM AS ROMA – Maurizio Veloccia, Councillor for Urban Planning of Roma Capitale, made some statements to Ansa and addressed the new Roma Stadium and the decision of the Regional Administrative Tribunal (TAR), which ruled against the City Council by not considering the Pietralata car wrecker illegal. According to the offices, in fact, parcel 138, the one at the center of the Tar’s ruling, belongs to the municipality, and the judges themselves state this by putting it in black and white. But the other parcels, where the firm continues to practice, are also municipal and will be part of the area affected by the Stadium. So far no one has sent the firm away from those parcels, because the criterion is that since there is a business there, you don’t clear it out until there is a need for it, so as not to cause it harm. But when they are needed for the actual implementation of the construction site then we will proceed in the same way as for housing.”
