Former Bologna technical area manager Walter Sabatini has returned to talk about the death of Sinisa Mihajlovic, for whom he feels a special sense of guilt.
ON MIHAJLOVIC. “I miss him so much, I get an indecent feeling of guilt. I say to myself, ‘Why does he and I don’t.’ I always exaggerate the feelings. I say, “but what justice is this, why does a bright young man like Sinisa have to die and I who am a living flip-flopper am still alive?” I look around and say why is it right that it is so. There is that object (the son, ed.) who is 20 years old and it is right that he still has a father for a few years.”
