And Como doesn’t stop: names of Ikone and Yeremay pop up, one step closer to closing for Fresneda

It is a continuous chase of rumors regarding Como’s soccer market, after the Larian club’s officialization of newcomers Assane Diao and Jean Butez and the temporary six-month transfer to Salernitana of striker Alberto Cerri, here is the latest news – again with the expert Gianluca Di Marzio on his blog – that would highlight an interest in Jonathan Ikone, a class 1998 Fiorentina external striker of French nationality who has collected 4 goals in 22 appearances during the season. For Ikone it would be a loan deal.

One step closer to closure is the negotiation regarding the arrival in Como of Ivan Fresneda (pictured above), a Spanish full-back born in 2004 on the strength of Sporting Club de Portugal. The defender is expected on Thursday (January 9) in Como for the ritual visits and the signature on the contract. Again, this would be a loan with mandatory redemption.

In the last few hours, the name of Yeremay Hernández Cuba, a talented young 2002-born offensive left back owned by Deportivo La Coruña, has also popped up. Yeremay made his first-team debut with Déportivo on Dec. 1, 2021 subbing in the second half and scoring his team’s third goal in the 4-3 away win against UCAM Murcia CF for the Copa del Rey.
