Cristiano Biraghi is preparing to be one of the important pawns in coach Vanoli’s Torino. The player, in fact, will find space in the 4-2-3-1 module that the Granata coach is using, as a left-back. In this role, Biraghi will go to fill the slot left empty by Vojvoda’s transfer to Como. His task will be to preside over the left flank, with the ability to push in the offensive phase and give support to the advanced department, but also to ensure defensive solidity, making use of his experience accumulated over the years in Serie A. Biraghi, with his technical qualities and ability to get to the back, is a valuable asset for Torino’s flank play.

But the former Fiorentina player can also be adapted to the left armband role in the 3-man defense if needed. Although it is not his natural role, Biraghi has held this position before, and his experience in the defensive phase could be useful in this scheme.
