In recent hours a rumor has taken to circulating that saw the possible return to Trigoria of Roger Ibanez, 26, a Brazilian central defender from Al-Ahli with a recent past at Roma.
The rumor, however, was immediately denied by the player’s agent who, when asked by the editorial staff of radio station Rete Sport, described this possibility as “impossible.”
Ibanez had been sold by Roma to Saudi Arabia for 28.5 million euros plus bonuses in August 2023. With the Al-Ahli shirt, the player totaled 57 appearances and an impressive 8 goals, an enviable score for a central defender.
