Novak Djokovic, busy in France for Roland Garros, before the Champions League final between Psg and Inter Milan had been asked to express the team he would cheer for. The tennis player, who has never been diplomatic in his life, had no problem expressing his preference, admitting that he would support the transalpine team, and certainly not because he was in France at the time, but because of anything else.
“I will be rooting for PSG because I am a big Milan fan. I respect Inter Milan, but I’m an AC Milan fan,” Djokovic had admitted, making all the Rossoneri supporters proud, who apparently have a great feeling for tennis since the number one player in the World, Sinner is also a Milan fan. Djokovic’s faith has long been known, and Milan has often complimented the player after his successes.
The tennis player after the Psg victory thus wanted to reiterate what he had expressed a few hours earlier. The message that appeared on X does not leave much room for imagination

“A good night in Paris. (not only in soccer),” writes, then, the very strong Serbian tennis player, who evidently cheered and enjoyed Inter Milan’s heavyweight knockout. So did millions of Rossoneri fans, as did Djokovic. The defeat of the Nerazzurri, on the other hand, was really very heavy.

A defeat that went down in soccer history and will be remembered forever. It will be difficult for Inter and its fans to forget. Even the Curva Sud wanted to celebrate the cousins’ knockout with banners displayed outside the San Siro:

“Zero headlines. Yesterday Istanbul, today Munich. Tomorrow everyone to the psychologist.” A healthy mockery that was largely predictable. Then again, the season of Simone Inzaghi’s team ended without any wins. That was what Marco Materazzi feared, and so in the end it was. And to say that the Nerazzurri coach, who in the next few may leave the club, was daydreaming about the triplete
