Meet, shake hands and go their separate ways. Inter says goodbye to Simone Inzaghi after four years and the Second Star Scudetto. Taken for granted, today the official announcement. The now former Nerazzurri coach will leave for Miami as early as this weekend, where he will sign the contract, be officially presented by the Saudi club and immediately start coaching Al-Hilal ahead of the Club World Cup. His debut with the Arab team will come next June 18, in exactly fifteen days, in an immediately prestigious match against Real Madrid fresh from the announcement of Xabi Alonso. And so far what seemed obvious and as of today is also official.
The question being asked by Como fans is: what now ? What happens ? Is Inter really preparing the lunge (also economically as well as technically) for Cesc Fabregas or will they bet on another name to succeed Inzaghi ? The name of the Spaniard likes a lot – and it is not a mystery – to Marotta and the Nerazzurri managers: he would be at the top of the list of the papabili. A lunge, as said, that Inter wants to make and immediately without wasting time. Now everything is in the hands of Fabregas. Who in recent weeks (video above) announced his intention to stay in Como and continue the project started in these years in B and in A. Como remains vigilant, of course, although the words spent by Cesc are important. So far President Suwarso has rejected-with offers at least equal-other offers for his coach. Clearly, in this case, the will of the Spanish coach, who has given his boys an appointment in Mozzate next July 10, will also be decisive.
