For the formality is expected tomorrow, the day when Marco Baroni will be at the club to sign the resolution with the club. The coach’s requests were mainly two: maximum involvement in market decisions and the request to keep the team’s backbone, thus keeping Provedel, Gila, Romagnoli, Guendouzi, Rovella and Zaccagni, pillars of his project, in biancoceleste.

UPDATE JUNE 1 According to Alfredo Pedullà’s report, the meeting between the coach and Ds Fabiani was recently concluded. The parties would have reached an agreement, for a two-year contract with an option for a third year. The Commander would also have asked for maximum involvement in market decisions, and to let some big names leave only in case of suitable substitutes. In the coming hours Sarri is expected in Rome for the signatures. All done then for the return to Rome of the Tuscan coach.
UPDATE JUNE 1 – Lotito would like to announce Sarri to Lazio as early as Tuesday, the day of Baroni’s termination. Today, Sunday, June 1, Fabiani will be in Figline Valdarno, at the Tuscan coach’s home, and will have lunch with him. Maurizio would like a few more guarantees on the market, before accepting it sight unseen. The biancoceleste management has guaranteed him a contract of 2.5 million a season plus a rich bonus of 1 million in case of Champions League.
The main issues are twofold: not to sell the big boys and at the same time strengthen the team. Equally, Lazio has stakes to meet and cannot spend more than 70 percent of revenues. The plan they have in mind at Formello is that Sarri, preparing this team for one game a week, will be able to do well and will be able to make it grow.
