Linetty saluta dopo quattro stagioni, Karamoh va verso la scadenza, niente riscatto per Sosa e Salama: per loro sarà l’ultima gara
The challenge of the Olimpico against Roma will not only be the last match of the season for Torino, but also a farewell moment for several players who have worn the granata jersey in the last period. Between contract endings, non-renewals and unexercised redemptions, at least four players are now virtually certain to end their adventure under the Mole.
Ultima in granata per Linetty e Karamoh
The most significant name, at least for his long militancy in granata, is surely that of Karol Linetty. The Polish midfielder has been one of the longest-tenured faces in this recent phase of Toro’s history, but with his contract expiring and no renewal negotiations underway, his fate now seems sealed. Arrived in 2020 from Sampdoria (wanted by Giampaolo), Linetty has experienced up-and-down seasons but has always maintained a reliable midfield role.. As the months passed, however, it became evident that the paths between him and the club were destined to part.
The same goes for Yann Karamoh, also with a contract expiring and now on the fringes of the technical project. After a promising first season, the offensive outfielder has failed to confirm himself, also due to some recent physical problems and strong competition in the attacking department.
Salama e Sosa, niente riscatto
Among the players destined to pack their bags are also Borna Sosa and Amine Salama, both of whom arrived on loan and for whom Torino decided not to exercise the right of redemption. The Croatian, in particular, had started the season as a starter on the left flank but lost positions as the months went by, partly due to injuries and a performance that did not always live up to expectations.
Similar discourse for the French striker who did not play a single minute with the Torino jersey. An injury, already not enough competition, ended his season prematurely.
