No hurry of course, also because there are now two full months ahead of him to gradually resume training. It will obviously not be easy to get back to past levels after being idle for a year and a half, and in this sense the watchword is calm: Schuurs may yes be considered a true newcomer, but at the same time he needs everything but to be filled with pressure. The 25-year-old, as is only right, will need time to return to his best.
Krstovic per un sogno, Adams per la doppia cifra
Nell’ultima sfida tra Toro e Inter allo stadio Olimpico Grande Torino hanno vinto gli ospiti. Il 21 ottobre 2023, i nerazzurri si sono imposti a casa dei granata con un netto 3-0. Le reti di Thuram, Lautaro Martinez e Calhanoglu hanno piegato il Torino di Ivan Juric. Un’altra nota dolente della serata fu la lesione del legamento crociato di Perr Schuurs. In generale, nelle ultime 2 sfide su 3 tra Toro e Inter i granata hanno perso due elementi fondamentali della squadra come Schuurs e Zapata, entrambi per la rottura del legamento crociato.
L’ultimo dominio casalingo del Toro contro l’Inter risale al 25 marzo 1973. All’epoca, i granata vinsero per 4-0. Un successo netto, arrivato grazie a due doppiette. Ad aprire le marcature e raddoppiare il vantaggio ci pensò Claudio Sala. Gli altri due gol furono segnati da Paolo Pulici. L’Inter era una squadra di qualità, formata da leggende come Facchetti, Sandro Mazzola, Oriali e Boninsegna. I nerazzurri chiusero il campionato al quinto posto, davanti al Torino. I granata si tolsero comunque la soddisfazione di surclassare la squadra all’epoca allenata da Giovanni Invernizzi.
Poca continuità ma grande efficacia
Una delle vittorie casalinghe più larghe della storia granata contro l’Inter arrivò il 12 dicembre 1948. All’epoca, il Grande Torino batté i nerazzurri 4-2 al Filadelfia. Le reti di capitan Mazzola, Ossola e la doppietta di Menti regalarono il successo alla squadra granata. La partita del dicembre del ’48 fu l’ultima vittoria casalinga del Grande Torino contro l’Inter.
I granata hanno perso sia all’andata che al ritorno contro l’Inter (3-2 e 0-2), il Napoli (0-1 e 2-0) e il Bologna (0-2 e 3-2). Il Toro ha perso e pareggiato un derby (sconfitta per 2-0 all’Allianz Stadium, pareggio per 1-1 in casa). Un ko e un pari anche contro la Lazio (3-2 all’Olimpico Grande Torino, 1-1 a Roma). Per completare le 14 partite contro le prime 7 della classe manca la sfida contro la Roma, match conclusivo della stagione granata in programma il prossimo 25 maggio. All’andata, il Toro ha perso 1-0 e i tifosi sperano di non replicare il passo falso per rendere meno amara la stagione.
