The offensive midfielder, used in his career mainly as a trequartista, is back from another first-rate season and has confirmed the Azzurri’s feelings.
His 13 goals and 6 assists in 36 appearances prompted D.S. Giovanni Manna to insist on bringing him to the shadow of Vesuvius in the coming months. However, succeeding in completing the deal is by no means simple. He still remains the diamond of the Ukrainian club, which will not get rid of him at all easily.

Secondo quanto riferito da Tuttosport, il Napoli avrebbe già trovato un accordo economico con il giocatore. Sudakov sarebbe felice di vestire la maglia azzurra e di trasferirsi in Italia. Solamente a fine aprile aveva rilasciato delle dichiarazioni in cui confermava l’interesse degli azzurri e sottolineava di essere lusingato dall’idea di giocare con Antonio Conte.
Il vero ostacolo è lo Shakhtar, che ha rifiutato la prima proposta fatta dal club del patron De Laurentiis. Non sarebbero bastati i 35 milioni + 5 di bonus, la società ucraina vorrebbe arrivare a 45. Il Napoli farà quindi le sue riflessioni, ma la trattativa sembra già in uno stato avanzato. Per pochi milioni è difficile che le parti perdano l’occasione di chiudere un affare estremamente vantaggioso per entrambe.
Dopo il finale di stagione, sarà premura da parte della dirigenza partenopea spingere sull’acceleratore per portare a termine la trattativa. Insieme a De Bruyne e Jonathan David, il post campionato sarà caldissimo per il Napoli, che metterà da subito le basi verso la prossima annata.
