Who is Cacciamani, the youngest granata to make his Serie A debut since 2000

Tutto quello che c’è da sapere su Alessio Cacciamani, classe 2007 che ha esordito in Serie A contro l’Inter strappando un record di 25 anni

Born June 29, 2007, in Jesi, in the province of Ancona, Alessio Cacciamani began his football career close to home, first in the youth sector of Biagio Lazzaro and then between Fano and Ancona. It was during his time in the latter that Torino scouts discovered him, bringing him to the Granata in August 2023. In a very short time, the talented youngster burned through the ranks, first moving from the Under 17 to the Under 18 and then making the final leap to the Primavera, before making his absolute debut in Serie A against Inter. A historic first in some ways, as the 17-year-old became the youngest granata player to play in Serie A since Quagliarella and Mariani, dating back to 2000.

Le caratteristiche

Right-footed and an outside player, Cacciamani represents the perfect prototype of the ductile footballer that today’s coaches like, capable of playing both in attack and with more defensive tasks thanks to his main characteristics: technique and especially running. It is no coincidence that over the course of his experience in the Granata jersey he has changed positions on the field several times, adapting to the needs of his coaches: despite preferring to play on the left, in fact, Vanoli deployed him on the right in his first match among the big boys and he did not struggle at all.

I numeri

It is in this season in particular that his performance has improved by leaps and bounds, as shown by the numbers: in the Under 18s he put up 12 goals and 3 assists in 17 games, which meant that already by mid-season he was promoted to the Primavera team. And here he did not suffer the jump in category at all, often playing as a starter and scoring a goal with also 3 assists to his credit. A performance that did not go unnoticed even among Italy’s scouts, and in fact Cacciamani was called up several times with the National Under 18 team. The future is his, and Toro certainly wants to hold on to him.
