In his editorial in TJ, Massimo Pavan discussed Juventus’ moment as seen from a hypothetical generic Juventus fan’s point of view. Here is an excerpt of his words, “Give us something, something to hope for because Juventus fans are not happy. Last year they saw their rivals celebrating a Scudetto by bragging about a made-up second star. This year maybe they will see them celebrating the Champions with the Scudetto to Napoli. Last year at least there was the Coppa Italia and the hope of new technical guidance and a revolution, but this year? (…) The fear of Juventus fans is that they are caught in an incredible downward spiral with little hope of getting out of it.”

The journalist also added: “Juventus fans are not ready to experience more seasons of disappointment, they want to compete to win, there are other teams like Napoli and Atalanta, with lower budgets are doing better, why?
