“In my opinion De Bruyne is not a request from Conte, but it is an opportunity that Napoli wanted to take,” – says the journalist.

Marchetti stated how it is a complicated, but important operation:
“The interest in the player reaffirms Napoli’s desire to remain competitive. Already thinking about and getting in touch with the entourage is a very positive note. The Azzurri are there and it is good news for Italian soccer. It is a mirror of the club’s desire to want to invest, of a solid planning that will also invest in infrastructure.”
De Bruyne has already opened to negotiations with Napoli, after Manna showed him the convincing project of Conte’s Azzurri. Now we will have to wait for his decision, which will be purely a life decision and will depend on the family.

On Conte’s future, Marchetti himself has come out of the closet, stating how the coach’s bench is not well solid. Napoli, however, remains quiet at the moment because of the contract signed until June 2027.

“I don’t know what Conte will do, they will have to talk to each other. If they separate, it will not be because of De Bruyne let alone some other player, but because of a different vision of the future”- Marchetti tells Radio Marte.
Napoli, however, is ready to convince the coach mainly through the market. As stated by the journalist in fact, the team will be reinforced because of the Champions League.
