In the chapter dedicated to Aurelio De Laurentiis, nicknamed “The Sultan,” Luciano Spalletti revealed the many problems he had with the patron during his time at the Court of Vesuvius. One of them was represented by the constant moving from one hotel to another. The following are his words.

“Our usual hotel was in Corso Vittorio Emanuele. When Juventus arrived, we were told to change houses. We were diverted to another hotel, which was inconvenient for moving to the stadium. This could have made my players think that on our habits the opponents rule. That year this forced change occurred many other times. In essence, throughout my history in Naples I have fought two battles: one against the opponents and the other with the president.”
