Vlasic and Lazaro try recovery for Naples: Vanoli hopes

Ahead of the challenge against Napoli, scheduled for two days from now, Vanoli is keeping his hopes alive that he will be able to count again on two key pawns: Nikola Vlasic and Valentino Lazaro. Both players are still on the fringes of the group, but in recent hours they are showing encouraging signs on the physical recovery front. The two, absent respectively from the matches against Como and Verona, continue to train separately – along with the other two injured players, Sosa and Ilic – but the Granata medical staff is carefully monitoring their condition, confident that they can at least be reinserted among the summoned players.

Marengo avevo detto: “Questa marcia lascerà il segno”

Inactive since the last match at home to Como due to a calf muscle problem from a hit he received, Vlasic was not showing great signs of improvement until a few days ago. Now, however, he seems to be getting better and better, as does his partner Lazaro, who has also been away from the field with a calf injury since the match against Verona. The Austrian side had started 2025 well, but yet another physical problem has kept him off the field longer than expected.
