Sanabria’s “rest” continues: out even with two-man attack

Seconda gara in panchina per l’attaccante paraguaiano, che non è entrato neppure nel secondo tempo con il Torino sotto nel punteggio

Nothing to do for Torino, which failed to score at the Maradona against a great Napoli. Complicated evening for the granata players, who found themselves facing an environment inflamed by the defeat of Inter and who pushed their team to success. Vanoli tried to mix things up a bit with the aim of surprising Conte but failed: the Granata coach dusted off the 3-5-2 that had not been seen from the first minute for almost 4 months, but even this did not help to avoid defeat. What was new, however, was the fact that this time even with the two-man attack Sanabria remained on the bench for the entire match.

Sanabria ancora fuori

0 minutes between Udinese and Napoli. Sanabria’s season has left something to be desired overall, and the only 2 goals scored in the entire league are proof of that. In recent weeks, however, the situation is getting worse and worse. After several games in which he came in from the bench, Vanoli wanted to reintroduce him to Como but there he strongly disappointed. This affected and not a little the vision of the coach, who left him out for the next two matches. Yesterday, in Naples, the number 9 was expected to come in at a disadvantage and given the use of the two-pronged module, but the coach instead preferred to use Karamoh and not take either Adams or Elmas off the field.

Il futuro

At this point, the striker’s future seems to be becoming more and more outlined. Sanabria was already supposed to leave in January but the right arrangement was not then found, and now it seems increasingly clear that the roads will part at the end of the season. Then again, there was never a spark with Vanoli.
