La partenza del corteo, che arriverà fino alla salita per Superga, è in programma alle 10 del mattino dal Bar Norman
On May 4, 2003, in the aftermath of the arithmetic relegation to Serie B, 50,000 Granata fans paraded through the streets of Turin showing a unique pride and sense of belonging. A march that went down in history. Today, from a sporting point of view, the situation is different, the Granata team is in tenth place in the standings but has not yet managed to make that leap in quality so much desired by the fans and it is also for this reason that Curva Maratona, Curva Primavera and Unione Club Granata have organized a new march, to be held precisely on Sunday, May 4, to show their pride again but also to express their discontent with the management of the club.
Ad agosto oltre 15.000 tifosi alla manifestazione prima di Torino-Atalanta
Sunday morning’s march will not only be attended by the organized groups of the two curves and the various Torino Clubs from all over Italy; there are also many ordinary fans of all ages who will be present. Many are those who are also organizing from outside Turin (but also from other regions) to be present from the morning and express their disappointment with Urbano Cairo before going up to Superga.
Speaking of the Granata president, the Resistenti Granata group in recent days has urged him in a letter also spread via social media not to go up to the Hill in the afternoon. One does not need to be a soothsayer to speculate that during tomorrow morning’s march, which will take off from Bar Norman at 10 a.m., there will be no shortage of chants against Cairo and calls for him to sell the club: after all, those chants have accompanied Torino’s season in all these months, match after match (both home and away) and had also characterized another demonstration, the one last year before Torino-Atalanta, a few days after Raoul Bellanova’s sale.
Although it was organized in just a few days, more than 15,000 fans had participated in that demonstration, which started from the Filadelfia and ended in front of the Olimpico Grande Torino Grandstand. It is easy to imagine that next Sunday many more will take to the streets instead.
Marcia del 4 maggio 2025: il percorso
As mentioned earlier, the meeting is at 10 a.m. in front of Bar Norman, where Via Pietro Micca flows into Piazza Solferino. From there, the procession will start and walk down Via Pietro Micca, arriving in Piazza Castello, then continue to Via Po, Piazza Vittorio Veneto and cross the Gran Madre bridge.
At that point the procession will turn left along Corso Casale to Modena Square, where the road to Superga is located. Arrival in Modena Square is expected around 1 p.m.
