Osimhen, not just the Premier: the monstrous bid that could change everything

It’s not just the Premier League on Victor Osimhen, another monstrous offer is also ready that could change the Nigerian’s future

Victor Osimhen’s future remains a rebus. The Scudetto-winning striker with Napoli only 2 years ago is dragging Galatasaray to the tune of goals and is aiming to win the title. His very adventure in Turkey, however, is expected to end at the end of this season. The loan last September served as a way for Napoli to avoid paying his super salary and for the player to take the field.

Failure to agree on a deal with any other team from a top European club led the striker to choose a Plan B in order not to sit out an entire season. A choice that has certainly slowed down his career, which, however, has not been shaken at least in terms of scoring. Osimhen is still scoring, and in the summer his name will be making noise again.

Osimhen, non solo lo United: occhi sull’Arabia

Victor’s fate, however, could once again be far from the Europe that matters. Manchester United is yes interested in the player, but seems reluctant to spend the 75 million rescission clause. The Red Devils are not doing well financially and will have to divest first and then proceed with purchases.

Here, then, would pop up Al-Ahli. The team of Koulibaly, Milinkovic-Savic and Mitrovic, which also had Neymar in its ranks. The center forward himself could leave the club, making way for Osimhen. Ready a monstrous offer even for the salary that could convince the player to sign.

The hoped-for appeal, the Arab league has never achieved. Bringing Osimhen to the Saudi Pro League will, therefore, force a major economic investment. In the meantime, Napoli is waiting, because it will not go below the 75 million foreign-valid clause. And Juventus? It will not stand idly by, but for Italian clubs the cost will be much higher, and negotiating between the parties is no picnic.

Recent rifts over Danilo and the disruptive work with Comuzzo may have further soured a less than idyllic relationship between the two clubs after the Higuain affair. Cristiano Giuntoli’s move to the Bianconeri is also not conducive to negotiations, given the split with Aurelio De Laurentiis. In short, future still in the balance for Osimhen, who is looking for a more serene path for his future.
