A very fierce Serie A, with a scudetto fight still open between Inter and Napoli, the salvation challenge involving Empoli, Venezia and Lecce, and the Champions race with as many as 6 clubs involved. Right behind is Atalanta, which according to the algorithm has a 99.1 percent chance of qualifying for the next Champions League. La Dea, long in the running even for the Scudetto, had a decline in the second phase of the championship, but in this final round they are on the upswing and may actually succeed in Champions next year as well. The five-point lead over fifth-placed Juve is also decisive.

At 50.8 percent we then find Juventus itself. According to the algorithm, the Bianconeri are the second favorites to reach the finish line. Tudor’s team would qualify, perhaps in fourth place, a position from which they are now only 1 point away. Decisive will be the direct clash against the Rossoblù scheduled in two weeks.
Italiano’s team follows with a 22.2 percent chance. Despite being the fittest in Italy, the schedule is not the most comfortable and the thought of the Coppa Italia might take away some physical and mental energy with the great chance to lift the trophy. Then, at 21.6 percent, there is Lazio. There is very little distance between the Emilians and the Biancocelesti, but according to the algorithm they will potentially finish sixth.
Fiorentina’s chances are collapsing, with just 4.6 percent of succeeding in qualifying for the Champions League. The Viola are four points away from fourth place, but are eighth. The schedule is not impossible and the challenge against Bologna scheduled in three weeks will be decisive. Finally, Roma, which despite finding itself with 1 point more than the Viola, has just a 1.8 percent chance of reaching the top 4 according to the algorithm.
