Compared to the challenge against Como in the away match, Paolo Vanoli will change something in his Torino. The main news is one: Samuele Ricci returns from disqualification. But Coco will not be there: in fact, the number 23 has been stopped by the sports judge for added cautions. Instead, the injured are Zapata, Schuurs, Savva, Ilkhan, Njie, Salama and Lazaro. Vlasic and Ilic are in doubt, but Vanoli hopes to the last to have them available: a hope that mainly concerns the Croatian trequartista while Ilic should make it, at least for the bench.

Vanoli is expected to confirm the usual 4-2-3-1 that is bringing good results. In the goal there are no doubts and Milinkovic-Savic plays. As always Paleari and Donnarumma available. Without Coco, the center back on Maripan’s left should be Masina, who is in pole to play from the start. If that is the case, Walukiewicz would act as the soloist on the right and Biraghi on the left. But if Walukiewicz plays center instead, then Pedersen would play on the right with Masina on the bench. This option seems less likely, however. In either case, Borna Sosa and Dembelé on the bench. In midfield, the two starters play: Ricci and Casadei, bench then for Linetty, Tameze and Ilic.

In attack, the only point is Adams. On the three-quarter Elmas is untouched and should act on the left. So should Gineitis on the right in place of Lazaro. In the middle, Vlasic will try hard to be there but if he doesn’t make it, there are several options: one could be the double toe with Sanabria starting, as in Como. Or Karamoh on the left, with Elmas moved to the right and Gineitis in the center. Vanoli evaluates and waits until the last to see how Vlasic is doing.
