Milan is looking for a new coach for next season. The choice will also depend a lot on who will be the sporting director: it was supposed to be Fabio Paratici, so as to finally bring competence and experience to the club, but something went wrong and the deal fell through. Giorgio Furlani is looking for another one: Tare and D’Amico the main suspects, but watch out for possible surprises (which, when Milan is involved, are never lacking). For the bench, there is a basic idea: to rely on an Italian coach.
Fans dream of Antonio Conte, but the contractual link with Napoli is difficult to resolve; and, above all, it is hard to understand why the former Juventus and Inter Milan player would prefer Milan, also out of the Champions League, to other teams. Ditto for Roberto De Zerbi, committed to Marseille. The easiest track to reach, because free and with very little appeal after the disaster he made at Juventus, is Massimiliano Allegri. Even, according to Fabio Ravezzani there would already be an agreement. But how would Allegri’s Milan play?
The last three years at Juventus have been bad for Allegri: poor quality of play, bad results, and above all, no kind of player enhancement. And in fact, after his farewell to the Bianconeri, with so many vacant benches, no big has chosen him. Milan is making a thought about it but with the knowledge that a lot of work will have to be done in the market to strengthen the team because Allegri works (but not always, and Milan knows something about it) only with roses of a certain level.
