CU’s moviola at Inter-Udinese 2-1: Chiffi whistles poorly and unnerves the match

Neither too good nor too bad referee Chiffi in his direction of Inter-Udinese yesterday at “San Siro.” The problem is, while trying to whistle little as he loses the pulse of the match, although in the end his direction will not affect the outcome of the match.

He closes his performance just 22 fouls whistled of which 8 against Inter and 14 against Udinese. Only two cautions against Inter players Asllani (foul on Pafundi) and Barella, both in mid-recovery, to which he added a red for protests against Simone Inzaghi.

NO PENALTY – Already in the 6th minute Thuram lets himself fall in the Juventus penalty area: nothing to report, the Frenchman does it all by himself. In the 48th, Ehizibue touches the tip of his right foot to Thuram, but on the edge of the penalty area: no penalty. Both correct decisions by Chiffi.

MISSED CRIMONITIONS – At 44th ugly entry by Ekkelenkamp on Mkhytarian: a caution was due. At the half-hour mark of the second half, hard intervention by Payero, with his feet together, on Barella: in this case the caution was sacrosanct.

SIMONE INZAGHI’S EXPULSION – With the match rising in nervousness, the Inter coach pays the price, as he exceeds his protests by even entering the field. Protests because, according to the coach, a foul by Bijol on Correa was missing, an action from which would later result in a second chance by Solet saved by Sommer. Unquestionable red.

For this set of reasons, the editors of CalcioUdinese award a “stretched” sufficiency to referee Chiffi for his direction at San Siro
