Bologna Primavera lost 2-4 in their home match against Roma. Of character and quality was the performance of the Rossoblù despite the strength of the opponent first in the standings, but the Giallorossi always responded to the Rossoblù’s comeback attempts. De Luca’s goal in the 47th minute and Nordvall’s in the 67th minute were the goals for Bologna, for a knockout that keeps the Colucci-coached boys at 29 points in the standings.
In the 7th minute Roma immediately broke the deadlock through Di Nunzio, who was skillful in surprising Happonen with a left-footed cross. Ten minutes later Bologna responded with Ravaglioli’s attempt from outside the box, but his right-footed shot was well parried by Marcaccini. In the 25th minute, Tonin was very good first in recovering the ball in acrobatics, and then in the personal action that brought him to the conclusion with his left foot, but his shot was just inaccurate. Roma’s double, however, came in the 30th minute thanks to Della Rocca, who was on time in getting past Happonen on his way out. On the next action, Bologna came very close to scoring with Menegazzo, but his right-footed shot was rebounded just at the finest moment.
In the second minute of the second half, newcomer De Luca scored the go-ahead goal that shortened the gap on a free kick from the left well kicked by Ravaglioli. In the 52nd minute, however, Marazzotti scored again for the Giallorossi on a sprinting play. In the 67th minute the red-blues reacted again and with Nordvall, perfect in his right-footed finish from outside the box, found the 2-3 goal. With five minutes to go in the 90th minute, Graziani closed the score to 2-4 by inserting himself in space to the best of his ability before beating Happonen on the way out.
