Sky Sport journalist Peppe Di Stefano spoke to the microphones of Radio Capri during the program Bordocampo – I Tempo, where he commented on the upcoming challenge between the Azzurri and the Rossoneri, highlighting the Rossoneri environment and the moment they are going through.
Napoli Milan, Conte sicuro: “Recuperare tutti per dire la nostra”
“It is a different Milan than in previous years. I think the Milan of the Scudetto was much less strong than this current one, but it had a more solid locker room, with driving figures ranging from the managers to the coach to the team manager. In general, the environment was different. I don’t know if this Milan will be able to become that, but this is confirmation that in soccer, not only names count. I agree with Ibra: this Milan is stronger than that of the past, but it does not perform in the same way. If Napoli will make the mistake of leaving space for Milan’s individuals, they can hurt. However, as of today, I do not know if Milan has a soul: it is strong, and if it played a friendly on Thursday it would be the best team in the league, but the league is another thing,” Di Stefano commented.
The Sky Sport journalist went on to give his opinion on Napoli and the Azzurri’s season finale.
“You have to fear Antonio Conte, his desire and the final rush. I was very surprised by the Venice game, otherwise everything is in line. At the beginning of the year I expected Conte to reignite Napoli. The failure to sell Kvara, or perhaps his sale with the arrival of a top player, could have made the difference, but it did not, perhaps also because of budgetary needs. However, I think Napoli is doing a great job and will continue to do so. I don’t think the championship is over-I still have Napoli-Juve and Napoli-Inter in my eyes, and in those games Napoli excelled. This makes me think that it can still have its say, considering that Inter is busy on several fronts. In my opinion, Napoli will be able to play it to the last.”

L’hanno lasciato solo, dico solo questo, e Maradona non era un uomo da lasciare solo: sono convinto che se fosse stato a Napoli non sarebbe finita così”.
Infine, l’ex massaggiatore ha elogiato l’attuale allenatore degli azzurri:
“Conte sta facendo il massimo a Napoli, ci sono ancora nove partite e tutto è ancora aperto. L’allenatore ha preso una squadra in enorme difficoltà, quello che sta facendo è un vero miracolo: non capisco come ci possano essere critiche per questo allenatore che bisogna solo ringraziare. L’Inter ha più impegni e il Napoli ha il dovere di crederci”.
“Voglia di Napoli? È stato perfetto il mio inserimento al Napoli, fin sopra le aspettative. Sono stato accolto benissimo, l’ho detto anche in ritiro. Oggi penso che in parte abbiamo sentito quell’entusiasmo. Stiamo facendo qualcosa di miracoloso, dobbiamo renderci conto. Abbiamo partecipato soltanto a questa competizione e adesso quello che dobbiamo fare tutti è concentrarci sul presente. Dopo le 8 partite penseremo al futuro, questo mi sento di dire“.
