Sky Sport journalist Peppe Di Stefano spoke to the microphones of Radio Capri during the program Bordocampo – I Tempo, where he commented on the upcoming challenge between the Azzurri and the Rossoneri, highlighting the Rossoneri environment and the moment they are going through.

I agree with Ibra: this Milan is stronger than that of the past, but it does not perform in the same way. If Napoli will make the mistake of leaving space for Milan’s individuals, they can hurt. However, as of today, I do not know if Milan has a soul: it is strong, and if it played a friendly on Thursday it would be the best team in the league, but the league is another thing,” Di Stefano commented.
The Sky Sport journalist went on to give his opinion on Napoli and the Azzurri’s season finale.
“You have to fear Antonio Conte, his desire and the final rush. I was very surprised by the Venice game, otherwise everything is in line. At the beginning of the year I expected Conte to reignite Napoli. The failure to sell Kvara, or perhaps his sale with the arrival of a top player, could have made the difference, but it did not, perhaps also because of budgetary needs. However, I think Napoli is doing a great job and will continue to do so. I don’t think the championship is over-I still have Napoli-Juve and Napoli-Inter in my eyes, and in those games Napoli excelled. This makes me think that it can still have its say, considering that Inter is busy on several fronts. In my opinion, Napoli will be able to play it to the last.”
Sul ruolo di inseguitore:
“Sarebbe da folli e da stupidi non fare un pensiero essendo a -3 dalla prima a 9 giornate dalla fine. Nessuno lo avrebbe mai immaginato. Giusto crederci, è giusto mettere tutto quello che abbiamo a disposizione. Ma dobbiamo uscire con la maglia sudata. Spero e penso che questo il tifoso lo stia apprezzando. Una squadra pronta a dare il tutto per tutto.
Poi vince una sola, ma noi dobbiamo crederci. Sarà dura ancora anche il piazzamento Champions. Dobbiamo conquistare un posto nell’Europa che conta e dobbiamo guardare avanti, che è il primo posto. C’è soddisfazione ad avere pressioni diverse, che ha chi lotta per il titolo o per non retrocedere. Noi lottiamo per un obiettivo primario. Domani ci aspettiamo la solita atmosfera al Maradona. Si deve creare la giusta alchimia e la giusta atmosfera”.
Sulla gara contro il Milan e il reparto offensivo del Napoli:
“Sarebbe un problema se non avessi le idee chiare. Le idee da attuare me le da il campo, ciò che ho visto in settimana e negli ultimi giorni. La felicità di aver recuperato Neres, meno per Anguissa infortunato. E c’è disappunto per l’infortunio di Spinazzola. Cercheremo di fare le giuste decisioni, sfidando una squadra costruita per vincere lo scudetto e che ha vissuto una stagione particolare. Poi a gennaio hanno acquistato calciatori forti. Noi affrontiamo il Milan che è una signora squadra con un ottimo allenatore in panchina. Ancora di più avremo bisogno del Maradona. Ci sarà da soffrire, ma dovremo trovare la forza”.
Sul Napoli della prossima stagione:
“C’è da giocare queste ultime nove partite. Può essere tutto o niente. Dobbiamo essere concentrati e feroci sul presente. C’è da conquistare ancora qualcosa. Che sia l’obiettivo massimo o importantissimo o altri obiettivi, ancora ci sono le partite. Non si parla di niente per quel che riguarda il calciomercato”.
In merito alle condizioni di Olivera:
“Ha giocato bene in nazionali ed è in buone condizioni. Giovedì ha recuperato e ieri e oggi ha fatto allenamento, quindi è a disposizione”.
Sulle due facce del Napoli, in grado di cambiare aspetto:
“Nell’ultimo periodo meritavamo qualcosa in più. Spesso ci si collega al risultato per dare il valore a una prestazione. Ho rivisto la gara con il Venezia e meritavi di vincerla. Cerchiamo sempre di migliorare. Il risultato condiziona le menti anche inconsciamente,. Quando vinci ti subentra la voglia di proteggerti di più, magari facendo questo sbagli. Si deve trovare il primo gol e poi il secondo.
Nei 90/95 minuti ci sono diversi momenti della partita e dobbiamo essere bravi a riconoscerli e ad adeguarci. Dobbiamo crescere e migliorare. In campo si devono riconoscere le situazioni. Rispetto a come le prepari, devi anche adeguarti. A volte lo fai benissimo, a volte no”.
