Udinese is preparing for a star-studded summer on the market, with Lorenzo Lucca and Oumar Solet at the center of negotiations. The Friulian club values both at least 30 million euros plus bonuses, a figure that could be a stumbling block for Inter and Napoli, but not for Premier League teams already on their trail.
Lucca nel mirino della Premier e dell’Atletico Madrid
According to reports in Messaggero Veneto, Lucca has landed in the sights of Nottingham Forest, currently third in the Premier League. Should the English team confirm their Champions League placement, they would be ready to invest in Udinese’s center forward. Arsenal and Liverpool are also monitoring the striker, attracted by his skills in the aerial game. Not only England, however: Atletico Madrid has already sounded the ground for the 2000-year-old from Moncalieri, who could have several options for the future.
Solet osservato da Manchester United e West Ham
On the defensive front, Oumar Solet has captured the interest of Manchester United and West Ham, which have already made initial inquiries. Udinese, however, does not intend to make any discounts and is unlikely to accept offers below their financial demands.
Futuro lontano dall’Italia?
Given the market value and interest of English clubs, both Lucca and Solet could move abroad in the next market window. In fact, Udinese’s economic demands seem more within the reach of Premier League teams than Italian ones. For Inter and Napoli, barring major disposals, the operation appears more complicated.
The summer promises to be eventful for the Bianconeri, who will have to decide whether to give up their jewels or resist offers to build a competitive team around them.
