La Procura di Milano ha avviato un’inchiesta senza ipotesi di reato e senza indagati per verificare che non ci siano eventuali danni alle casse comunali con questa operazione. Successivamente il Comune di Milano ha pubblicato un bando per valutare anche soluzioni alternative (limitate alle attività sportive) a quella proposta da Milan e Inter per l’area di San Siro. Scade il 30 aprile, data dopo la quale si procederà a trattativa privata con le due squadre per chiudere l’affare.
Con la pubblicazione del bando pubblico, sono emersi anche i dettagli riguardanti il progetto che Milan e Inter hanno presentato. Un documento di 250 pagine tecnicamente chiamato Docpfap (documento delle alternative progettuali). Emerge che il nuovo stadio ipotizzato dai club avrebbe una capienza di circa 71.500 spettatori (con il raddoppio dei posti corporate) e il progetto comprende anche la creazione di aree di ristorazione a servizio dello stadio e del quartiere, uffici, un albergo e spazi commerciali.
Costo complessivo di 1.250,8 milioni di euro, così suddivisi: 707,9 milioni per il nuovo stadio, 390,1 milioni del comparto plurivalente e il resto per altre spese. Milan e Inter stimano che l’investimento sull’intera area genererà un’attivazione economica complessiva di circa 4,6 miliardi di euro. Un’operazione ritenuta più conveniente della ristrutturazione del Giuseppe Meazza, valutata 836,7 milioni di euro.
Quale futuro per la Scala del Calcio? Sarà demolita in gran parte e rifunzionalizzata per ospitare un comparto a uso hotel, uffici e negozi, con spazi destinati alla cittadinanza e specifiche funzioni rivolte alla comunità, tra cui aree per anziani e giovani.
Milan e Inter fanno sul serio per costruire un nuovo San Siro, ma non è detto che i loro piani si realizzeranno. Bisognerà attendere per capire cosa succederà.
