Juve, Leomina: “In Motta, the right attitude was not enough.”

Interviewed on Radio Bianconera, Leomina, a musician and Juventus fan, spoke about coach Thiago Motta and the season at Juventus. Here is what he said, “The break is not good because when you play every week you have to immediately put away bad thoughts and dwell on the next game. So instead you have time to think about the non-Juventus situation and I’m not just talking about the coach. A year like this is the consequence of so many problems that no one expected. Everything is new but I thought and hoped there would be a different impact. Beyond the game, the attitude, when you start coaching a big team the difference is the time you take to get used to that world. As Del Piero said, everything is different in Turin: neither Motta nor Giuntoli got used to it. The attitude seen by Motta at Bologna is not enough, years like his have been had by many.”

Leomina: “Mancini potrebbe risollevare la situazione”

Roberto Mancini

The musician continued: “Take a Di Francesco who had a crazy year with Sassuolo, a Champions semi-final with Roma and then went into oblivion because staying at certain levels is not for everyone. Motta didn’t even make it to these levels because maybe there was no one there to explain to him what Juventus is. The players who could have done it, he didn’t want them, which if you win, even if snooty, is fine: if you win you are right. Many journalists at press conferences are giving him back what he gave at the beginning. (…) Shall I tell you the one “son of a gun” who could help lift it up? Roberto Mancini, because sometimes the best is the enemy of the good.” Also read today’s press review on Juventus <<<
