Samuele Ricci non basta all’Italia, Vlasic vince contro la Francia e Maripan perde l’incontro contro il Paraguay di Sanabria
During the day yesterday and the night just past 6 Granata players were busy with their respective national teams. Of these 5 only two did not enter the field remaining the whole match sitting on the bench and one of them is Borna Sosa. In fact, the full-back is not impressing with the Toro jersey and in the national team his left-back place was occupied by Gvardiol. With the Croatia jersey, on the other hand, he has Nikola Vlasic. The Taurus number 10 came on in the 70th against France and his national team eventually managed to win 2-0. A very important victory for Croatia’s Sosa and Vlasic even though the full-back did not get to take part in the match.
Scontro tra granata: Sanabria contro Maripan
In South America, a clash between two grenadians was played: Sanabria versus Maripan. Both of Vanoli’s two players played as starters in the match between Paraguay and Chile. Clash valid for qualification for the upcoming World Cup. In the end, Sanabria’s team won, with the Granata’s number 9 starting from the 1′ minute and staying in until the 77th minute, despite being in doubt until the last because of the injury that had kept him out against Parma and Empoli. Vanoli’s striker moreover also made the assist for the decisive 1-0 goal. In Chile, on the other hand, the Granata’s central defender Maripan played from the first minute until the 90th minute. Toro’s number 13 is increasingly important to Vanoli’s team.
Riccci non basta all’Italia, Casadei resta in panchina
Spalletti ahead of the double challenge against Germany had summoned two granata: Ricci and Casadei. The former is now routinely summoned by the national team, while for the latter it was his first call-up with the senior national team. Neither, however, started as a starter; in fact, Spalletti preferred Rovella to Ricci. In the game in progress, however, Rovella was brought off precisely to leave room for Ricci, who played an excellent game but was not enough to beat Germany. Casadei, on the other hand, remained on the bench.
