Napoli took the field yesterday at Castel Volturno for a joint training session against Puteolana, useful to keep the players who remained in town during the national team break in shape.
The match saw Ngonge and Simeone in goal for the Azzurri but, most importantly, the return of David Neres to the field after injury. Regarding the Brazilian, one more indication also emerges from yesterday’s test.

The coach therefore unhesitatingly took advantage of the joint training session also for some tests with respect to possible new solutions. The return of Neres, in fact, could really tip the scales and allow the coach even a tactical change.
His absence had led to a shift to 3-5-2 to take advantage of Raspadori’s abilities in the central areas of the field, and who knows if a useful solution to see him on the field alongside Neres is also in the works.
