Sam Beukema, a Bologna defender, is growing more and more in a Rossoblù jersey and has become more and more of a point of reference for Vincenzo Italiano. The Dutchman continues to shine in leadership and control of the game, qualities that have not, however, prompted Koeman to call him into the national team.
Beukema’s numbers, however, did not go unnoticed by Napoli, which, through sporting director Giovanni Manna, reportedly approached the player. The Parthenopeans had already followed the Dutchman at the time of AZ Alkmaar, but in the end the deal did not materialize and Bologna stepped in to close the deal. There will be no shortage of competition for Beukema in the summer, although the Rossoblù will try to raise their demands.
