Theo Hernandez has answered the call from France despite the problem suffered on Saturday with Como: the latest from France

Rest at last. Serie A, as well as all other leagues, face their first week of rest after months of major commitments. Milan is among the teams that have played the most matches since the beginning of the year: from the Super Cup onward, of all competitions, Sergio Conceicao’s men have expended a lot of energy. Now, however, this can no longer be an alibi: the Rossoneri are out of the Champions League and, between now and June, they will only have to play the league and, hopefully, three extra games, those of the Coppa Italia.
Two are certain: April 3 and 23 the semifinal first leg and return match against Inter. During these weeks of rest, Conceicao aims to improve the quality of play (which has not been seen so far) and recover the best condition of his players. Today, with Florenzi and Loftus-Cheek also returning, the only injured player is Emerson Royal, with the hope that no more will be added in the coming weeks. Of no concern at the moment is the problem of Theo Hernandez.
Infortunio Theo Hernandez, le ultime dalla Francia
At halftime of Milan-Como, Theo Hernandez asked for a change due to a slight physical problem. Nothing major, but it is crucial at this time to avoid any kind of problem. In the meantime, however, the Frenchman still responded to France’s call for commitments in the coming days: a sign that he has nothing to worry about but this still fueled some (unnecessary) controversy.

According to reports from L’Equipe, Theo Hernandez missed his first training session with France yesterday. However, the leading French daily is sure that within a very short time he will be back on the field, probably even as early as today. The situation is under control then, but in the Milan household the controversy never ends also because, in the meantime, on the other side of the Naviglio, Marcus Thuram returned due to a physical problem (it is not known to what extent).
At this delicate moment of the season, and with France chock-full of talented players to play in the useless Nations League, Milan should have pushed to avoid having him leave, just as, rightly, Inter did with its center forward. In any case, for Theo Hernandez one can sleep soundly, at least for now: the hope is that the muscle problem suffered during the match with Como will not recur or worsen.
