The CIES, an observatory on world soccer, has ranked the best “allrounder” forwards in Europe, that is, those players capable of dribbling, creating chances and scoring.
Topping the continental list is Michael Olise of Bayern Munich, followed by Lamine Yamal of Barcelona and Florian Wirtz of Bayer Leverkusen. In the Italian league, the best performer in the role is Rafael Leao of AC Milan, but in second place is Florian Thauvin, captain of Udinese.
This is an important recognition for the French striker, who this season has regained the brilliance of his best days, confirming himself as a reference point for the Friulian team. His ability to create play, jump the man and finalize has made him one of the most complete players in Serie A.
Thauvin’s inclusion in this special ranking confirms his impact in the Italian league and the value of the work he has done with Udinese, which continues to enhance its talents.
