Jonathan Silva al Crotone sta disputando una stagione strepitosa: per lui già 4 gol e 6 assist alla sua prima stagione con i grandi
Jonthan Silva arrived in the Granata youth ranks in 2021/23 from Brazil, after two years with the Toro shirt he was sent on loan to Crotone in Serie C to allow him to gain experience. The class of 2004 in the Italian third division is not only learning but proving to everyone that he can make a difference. In fact, the number 41 is already up to 4 goals and 6 assists in the league, not an insignificant haul for a 20-year-old who is in his first season with the professionals. Of these 6 assists two came in the last two challenges played by his Crotone, the one against Monopoli won 2-0 and the one against Giugliano won 3-2. It should also be noted that during Crotone’s season, when the Brazilian has scored or made assists the team has always won.
Versatilità e incisività: due qualità importanti
The 2004 boy, besides having obvious technical skills, has two very important gifts for a modern footballer: versatility and incisiveness. Regarding the former, suffice it to say that Silva this season has already played in 4 different roles: right wing, left wing, trequartista and central midfielder. Of course he has mainly acted on the right wing but even as a central winger he has played well scoring 1 goal and making 1 assist in 2 games in that position. Regarding incisiveness, on the other hand, it is important to note that on no less than 5 occasions his goals or assists decided the game, such as against Messina when thanks to one of his goals and one of his assists Crotone won 2-0. Against Giugliano in the first leg then a goal and an assist by the Brazilian gave the team a 1-3 victory. Again decisive in the 3-2 win over Catania with a goal and an assist and against Juve Next Gen with an assist in the 2-1 win. Finally the assist in the last game against Giuliano allowed his team to win 3-2.
Un giocatore importante per il 4-2-3-1 di Vanoli
Upon returning from loan Silva will be evaluated very carefully by Paolo Vanoli. Certainly the jump from Serie C to Serie A is a big leap and the youngster may still need a testing step in Serie B. However, it is impossible not to notice the qualities of the class of 2004, who is increasingly decisive in Crotone and who, in a 4-2-3-1 could act in all three positions behind the point, preferably on the right, where, to date, there is a lack of a player who can alternate with Lazaro. Certainly, therefore, the Brazilian will be kept a close eye on by the coach during the summer training camp to see whether or not he should be attached to the Granata first team.
