UEFA has released the refereeing designation for the first leg of the Europa League round of 16, Viktoria Plzen-Lazio. Lithuanian Donatas Rumšas, assisted by Aleksandr Radiuš and Dovydas Sužiedėlis, will direct the match. Manfredas Lukjančukas will be the IV official, while German Benjamin Brand and Donatas Šimenas have been designated in the roles of VAR and AVAR.

This will be the second cross between Rumšas and Lazio. The same goes for Viktoria Plzen, which has been refereed only once by the Lithuanian whistle. The only previous one with the Biancocelesti dates back to the 1-2 win at home to Celtic in the 2023/2024 Champions League, while the one with the Czechs is a win in the 2020/2021 UEFA Europa League preliminaries.
