Pellegrino and Bonny, Parma thinks about it. La Gazzetta dello Sport writes this on newsstands: “It is not known whether Chivu has this solution in mind for Saturday at the Tardini against Torino. Certainly the Romanian coach is considering all options because it is true that you have to protect the defense to the maximum (struggling with opponents in the open field), but it is equally true that you have to produce more going forward. The idea of a classic 4-4-2 is not a boutade: it is a matter of keeping the defense and midfield departments compact, so as not to let the opponents in, and of asking the forwards to show sacrifice in pressing. Both Pellegrino and Bonny are familiar with this form.”
