Adams dry for 4 games: last time brought three points

Ché Adams non segna dalla partita contro il Cagliari: 4 partite senza gol, in trasferta il digiuno è più lungo

Ché Adams in this league has scored 7 goals and provided 3 assists, no small haul for the Garnet’s number 18. The Scot is currently not finding the goal, however. In fact, his last goal scored dates back to the 2-0 home win against Cagliari. In the match played on January 24, Adams had scored both goals for the granata but has been dry since then. After Cagliari, Toro faced Atalanta, Genoa, Bologna, Milan and Monza. In the first two games he drew, lost to the Rossoblù and beat the last two teams. The Scot only missed the match against Milan due to injury while he played the other 4 without ever finding a goal, however.

Assist contro il Monza ma servono i suoi gol

Against Monza Adams did not find the goal but at least managed to find the assist for the 0-2 goal signed by Cesare Casadei. In the other matches then the number 18 always played well making himself dangerous and playing for the team, often stooping to dialogue with teammates to build important offensive actions. Unfortunately, however, since Zapata’s injury, Toro has needed a first forward to score with continuity. Vanoli’s team therefore needs Adams’ goals to move forward.

Casadei può integrare i gol di Adams

One very positive thing was seen in the match against Monza for Toro: the offensive propensity of Casadei. The midfielder in fact, despite playing in the midfield together with Ricci was the first player for shots attempted in Torino and the first for touches in the opponent’s box. This quality of his may lead him to score a lot of goals and, in doing so, to supplement the goals not scored by Adams, who, playing as the only forward, occasionally struggles a bit.
