Dove: “Chivu is more practical than Pecchia: in dirty matches you need…”

Franco Colomba spoke at the microphones of OaSport. The former coach commented on the change at the helm of the Gialloblu and outlined the road to the team’s salvation, these are his statements:

“Pecchia, at certain times, showed very good things, both in the construction and finalization phases. But a team that wants to save itself must also show a “dirtier” face, as we saw with Bologna: defend, restart and close the game. If you don’t have a team that can easily hold up the category, you also have to know how to play a dirty game to bring home the result. Pecchia’s Parma at times showed quality beyond their real possibilities. Chivu was more practical, and when you change coaches it is right to do that. Not every game will be able to succeed, but those who have to save themselves must also accept to play less beautiful but more concrete games.”
